Syracuse University

Campus Activities
SU offers more than 300 extracurricular activities, on-campus speakers, concerts, plays and movies. SU Recreation Services features Archbold and Flanagan gymnasiums with handball, squash and racquetball courts; a swimming pool; a fencing room; and weight-training equipment. The Women's Building has a dance studio, two gymnasiums, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a softball field. The Skytop recreation area on South Campus has tennis, basketball and volleyball courts and a softball field.

The 50,000 seat Carrier Dome, the only domed athletic stadium on a college campus, hosts SU's nationally recognized sports teams as well as rock concerts and other major events.

SU's Arts Adventure offers half-price tickets to many local theatres, concerts and visual arts displays.

Campus Housing
There are 13 residence halls on SU's Main Campus. South Campus, 1.5 miles from Main Campus, is an area of apartments, townhouses and three smaller residence halls. The Goldstein Student Center provides a dining area, exercise and recreation are, meeting rooms and social gathering places for South Campus residents. South Campus is served by a free shuttle bus service. SU has six dining centers and two food courts on campus.

SUNY Upstate Medical University

Campus Activities
Upstate offers 40 student clubs and organizations from ballroom dancing to student government. The Campus Activities Governing Board schedules social, cultural and recreational programs including first-run movies on weekends, a guest lecture series, comedy hours, weekend getaways and discount tickets to local sporting and cultural events. An intramural sports program runs men's, women's and/or co-ed leagues in basketball, volleyball, softball, football, racquetball and squash.

Campus Housing
Clark Tower, Upstate's residence hall, houses 170 students and spouses in standard rooms, studio apartments and two-bedroom suites. An optional meal plan is available through Sedexho Marriott Services.

SUNY College of Environmental Science and Technology

ESF and Syracuse University have a dynamic and longstanding partnership that goes back to the founding of the College in 1911. From the beginning, ESF has contracted with SU to provide its students with housing, food services, athletic programs, health and counseling services, library facilities and other services. ESF students are considered students of both institutions.
